Update: January 11th, 2012 MaxPreps Award CeremonyJust a reminder that on Friday, January 13th, MaxPreps will present the 2011 Class 6 State Champion Jaguar Football Team with the Army National Guard National Rankings Trophy at halftime of the Varsity basketball game against Lee's Summit North. Check out the press release below: MaxPreps is honored to announce the Blue Springs South South Jaguars have been selected to participate in the MaxPreps Tour of Champions Presented by the Army National Guard! The Jaguars went 12-2 and won the Class 6 state finals beating Christian Brothers 40-37. Out of the 16,000 football teams nationwide, MaxPreps awards only 50 football teams with the prestigious Army National Guard National Rankings Trophy. The awards ceremony will be held January 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the halftime of the Boys basketball game where the Jaguars will be honored for their incredible season! The post season football banquet was held on Sunday, December 18th, 2011. The dinner, catered by Carrabba's Italian Grill,
was exceptional as always. Twenty six senior Jaguar players and two managers were honored during the evening.

![]() Max Preps Sports AwardMax Preps Sports has selected your Jaguars football team as a recipient of the National Guard Tour of Champions award. The award is given to the top 50 teams in the nation who have won state championships. They will be at South on Friday, Jan. 13th for the Varsity basketball game vs. LS North and will present the award to the football team and coaches during halftime ceremonies. In one of the most exciting games played over the two days of championship football at the Edward Jones Dome, the Jaguars beat
the odds and defeated the CBC Cadets 40 - 37 on Friday night. Despite falling behind early, the Jaguars showed the heart, grit
and desire to fight for the full 48 minutes by knotting the game at 23 going into the half. The second half was much like the first

The 2011 Jaguar Football season is over and what a season it was! The all-squads record was 36-9-1 for a 78% winning margin.
